Introduction

After just a couple of months of blogging for my family's "scrapbook", I have decided that I would really like to have my own personal blog. There are times that I'm really struck with different thoughts, convictions, or just have my own funny stories and interactions to share. I think it will be a lot of fun to display them in this way.

I have no idea how often I'll be able to update this blog. With a husband and two little boys at home, I'm glad if I can find the time to do any reading or writing at all :-) However, I do plan to post here a couple of times a week, if not more. What you'll find, when you check in, will probably be a mix of reflections from my quiet times, my rantings on different social/political issues, journals about my daily activities and pictures of my life. New posts coming soon!

Thanks, Kristen. You are so sweet. The picture of me is from our wedding. I love our wedding pictures! I can definitely see you doing something like that (photographing weddings, that is) if you wanted to. You are definitely gifted in that arena!

P.S. I am glad that we are getting "connected" through Raigen and blogs. A good, new friend is always a welcome blessing for me :-)

Thank you, Michelle & Anita, for your kind words of encouragement regarding my blogging/writing. I am so blessed to know such beautiful women. I love each of you more than you know.
